Monthly meeting follow-up, stay tuned for more!

I hope you’re having a great week so far! Meeting with the group on Monday brought me so much joy as we discussed Earth Day, financial literacy, planned for our post-high school plans, and learned more about each other. A huge thank you to Jill for guiding our seniors in a comprehensive chat about how to review their award letters and talk to their family members about paying for college. While the seniors were talking numbers, Shayla and Amaya won the Life After High School activity with their plan for a career in fine art photography! On the mentor side, shout out to Reginald and Joel for attending their first mentoring meeting!

Reginald Williamson joins us as a public defender working alongside Roz! He studied at AU and as a gospel singer, he’s looking forward to sharing his musical talents.

Joel Shuler will soon be retiring from a decorated career in the Army and is excited to support young people who are interested in cybersecurity! He’s a big fan of accounting, math, and all things numbers.

Please help me welcome them to our Mentoring CHEC family!
